After breakfast we proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is at a travel distance of 55 Km from the Srinagar city which is to be covered in an hour. We could halt at Tangmarg for a cup of coffee and relax our muscles. We will check in to the hotel and freshen up for mesmerizing visuals of Gulmarg aptly called as winter paradise. The major locations to be covered are Golf Club, Strawberry Valley, Nageen Valley and Maharaja Palace. It is a shame if we come to Gulmarg and don’t enjoy the highest cable rope car in the world famously known as Gondola. It can take you up to the height of 16, 000 ft. above sea level and will mesmerise you will the glaciers of Khilanmerg and Afarwat. A word of caution, it is cold there so brace yourself with warm clothes and accessories.If you have a nick for winter sports then you could buckle up yourself for snow skiing, sledging, snow bikes and ATV bikes. Walk back to your hotel, Appease your hunger with international cuisine and retire to your bed for a night stay.

The journey will take around 2 and half hour and you should visit famous Awantipora Ruins and Saffron fields on the way. Awantipora ruins are known for being ancient Hindu temples during the reign of King Avantiman who ruled during AD 855-833 You should visit the Aru Valley, Chandanwari valley and Betaab valley. They are all famous for being the site for Bollywood movies. If you have a taste for adventure rides then a visit to Pahalgam club, Children Park, and Zoo is a must. Move to your hotel and relax yourself with delicious dinner and a night stay.
Start your day early as you will need to travel to Katra which is around 250 km and a journey of 8 hours. On the way you could stop at Patnitop which lies in the Himalayan range. Since it is a spiritual journey we could visit Nag Temple being 600 year old and famous for Nag panchmi festival. We can also visit Nathatop for a clear view of Himalayas from an altitude of around 10, 000 ft. above sea level. After breakfast, we will drop you at Katra Helipad. Start your Holy Journey to Mata Vaisnodevi Darshan by Helicopter. Katra – Sanjhichat – Katra by Helicopter.
